The Akashayana have a bit of a reputation for hitting their problems, and to be fair, that’s a decent way to solve a lot of issues. However, these teacups are designed for when punching just isn’t going to solve a problem. Ming Na was an Akashic Master who oversaw regular negotia tions with the Hengeyokai and Wan Kuei over Dragon Nests (Nodes) in China. These cups are part of why she was so successful. Sadly, they are not fool proof, and the Master was murdered by a corrupted spider-changer. The
set of cups currently grace the monster’s mantle in their Hong Kong home.
System
These cups induce calm so that heated discus sions can be had in a relatively peaceful and logical way. Any supernatural being capable of frenzy cannot use that ability while they hold one of these cups. After pouring tea into the cups to activate them, all social rolls with a focus on cooperation or common purpose gain a +2 bonus for anyone who drinks from them. This Effect is elegant.
