Jacob would Awaken in the middle of the process. The bells were exactly as intended: beautiful, delicate, and the sound they made was pleasant to the ear. At least, to the ear of any non-lycanthrope. David had unwittingly tapped into his spiritual connection to his Garou ancestors, and his beautiful bells are an effective weapon against them.

System

Any being with a sensitivity to silver takes 3 lethal damage when they hear the ringing of these bells. This damage may be soaked. When rung, the sound effect lasts for 5 rounds and consumes 1 point of Quintessence per strike. This Effect is elegant, but their effect on werec­ reatures is obvious and may create a scene.
