The worst part of firing a revolver is having to reload the damn thing. Actually, hitting things isn’t so easy either. OK. The second worst thing is having to reload every six shots. Luckily for a few shootists, canny scientists have come up with a Device to fix that problem. By creating an invisible bond between their pockets, pistol belt, or wherever they keep their ammunition, shootists with these pistols can skip the tedious procedure of emptying their cylinder and replacing the spent cartridges. Instead, they simply give the cylinder a quick spin, and the Device handles the rest, shaving at least a dozen seconds off the process.

The most famous pair of these pistols are wielded by a rather eccentric country doctor who is currently traveling around Britain and the Continent. He’s clearly American, and a strong Yee-Haw rings out anytime he needs to use

his guns. He’d also sell his guns in a heartbeat for the right price. Heck, he’d probably sell them on a lark if asked while drunk.

System

By activating and spinning the cylinder of the revolver, this gun is immediately reloaded with ammu­ nition. This saves the user from having to take an Action to reload. This Effect is elegant for at least four rounds. In subsequent rounds it becomes uncanny.
