Merits for Kinfolk characters are purchased during character creation with freebie points. Just like Garou characters, Flaws earn them freebie points, up to a maxi mum of seven points. Many of the Merits and Flaws listed for Garou (pp. 471-485) make sense for Kinfolk as well; consult with your Storyteller to determine which he feels are appropriate for Kinfolk. In addition, here are some additional Merits and Flaws which are specifically targeted towards the complex role Kinfolk play in the world.
