With {@sphere Life|M20} 5 and {@sphere Prime|M20} 5, that creature may be turned into a Soulflower: a living extension of the mage’s personal energies. A similar enchantment ({@sphere Matter|M20} 4 /{@sphere Prime|M20} 4) crafts an inanimate Soulgem: a material receptacle for that willworker’s personal essence. In both cases, the Soulflower or Soulgem mirror and contain both the Quintessence and the Resonance from the mage who crafted them. The {@system Periapts|BoS} add to the mage’s Quintessence and Paradox capacities, and allow her to access their Quintessence almost anywhere, even across vast distances (assuming she can reach them with {@sphere Correspondence|M20}-Sphere magick). If and when the mage’s Resonance shifts, then the Resonance within those {@system Periapts|BoS} shifts as well.
